in Navepet Mandal. BJP candidate Raju won this seat with 90 votes. An independent candidate won from KCR's adopted village
chinna mulkalur
in Karimnagar district.
A Congress candidate won in KCR's mother-in-law's village Kodurupaka in Siricilla district's Boyenapalli Mandal. Congress candidate Balagauni Gauthami defeated TRS candidate Rajitha in MPTC election.
Polling for 534 Zilla Parishad Territorial constituencies (ZPTC) and 5,659 Mandal Parishad Territorial constituencies (MPTCs) in 31 districts was held in May while counting of votes was held on Tuesday. The ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) has bagged majority seats in local body elections.
