Telangana governor slams previous BRS government in Republic Day speech
HYDERABAD: Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan stated on Friday that Telangana has been reconstructing the damaged constitutional bodies, systems, and values over the last 10 days. Delivering her Republic Day speech after the Congress government took over, she expressed her delight in announcing that the people's government is reviving constitutional merits, systems, and practices.
Critiquing the previous BRS government, she mentioned that it completely ignored the employment and livelihoods of the youth over the last 10 years. She asserted that the government led by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is now giving special attention to providing jobs to the youth. She also noted that the past government was inaccessible to the common man, and people faced challenges in submitting their grievances.
She concluded her speech with a Tamil verse, stating that courage, generosity, wisdom, and zeal are the four essential elements of a successful government.
