Telangana government reshuffles IAS officers in the state

HYDERABAD: In a minor reshuffle of IAS officers, the Telangana government on Saturday transferred Khammam collector M Dana Kishore as managing director of Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB). He earlier worked as managing director of HMWS&SB for a month but was posted as Khammam collector replacing Lokesh Kumar on the directions of Election Commission of India (ECI). Lokesh Kumar was then posted as incharge of HMWS&SB manging director.

The General Administration Deparment (GAD) issued orders on Saturday as model code of conduct ended on May 19 after eletion results of Palair assembly bye-election was declared. Lokesh Kumar, who was shifted on the directions of ECI on the directions of ECI, has been given posting again as collector of Khammam.

Interestingly, Khammam superintendent of Police Shanawaz Qaasim, who was shifted along with Lokesh Kumar, was not given posting as SP of Khammam again yet.
