HYDERABAD: MIM leader
Akbaruddin Owaisi has said if he were made chief minister of Telangana, he would show how jobs could be created and provided. “Will you make me chief minister?” he asked the crowd at an election meeting in Chandrayangutta assembly election constituency, a seat considered his bastion.
Akbaruddin Owaisi explained to the crowd that as an MLA his role was restricted to taking care of civic amenities with the MLA funds at his disposal. He said people ask him about jobs but explained that this was the responsibility of the chief minister of the state, and the Prime minister of the country. “If I have to provide jobs, I can. I know how to. Make me chief minister,” he said. The crowd responded with a roar saying that they wanted to see him as CM.
In the last four elections, Akbaruddin Owaisi had got elected from the Chandrayangutta constituency and is contesting in the 2018 elections also from the same constituency.
Akbaruddin Owaisi explained how jobs were provided in the educational institutions and hospitals run by him. “We know how to create jobs and provide jobs,” he said giving explaining how many people had been given employment in these institutions.

, the MIM is a ‘friendly party’ with the ruling TRS. In 2014, MIM had got elected from seven constituencies and in this election too, their election is being taken for granted. MIM has also fielded a candidate from Rajendranagar seat.
