Telangana: ‘Colour Photo’ gets national film awards

HYDERABAD: Telugu films bagged four awards in the 68th national film awards for 2020 which were announced on Friday.
'Colour Photo' has been adjudged the best Telugu film. The film was produced by Benny Muppaneni under Amrutha Productions and directed by Angirekula Sandeep Raj. Suhas and Chandini Chowdary played the lead roles in the film.
"This is shocking...surprising.Happy Tears...Love u all (sic)," Sai Rajesh Neelam, who provided the story for the film along with Sandeep Raj, tweeted reacting to the award.
'Natyam' produced by Sandhya Raju won two awards. Sandhya Raju won the award for best choreography, while TV Rambabu won the award for best make-up.
Thaman bagged the best music director award for the film 'Ala Vaikuntapuramlo'. "Yayyyyyy!!! We made it (sic)," tweeted Thaman reacting to the national award.
He shared a photograph of actor Allu Arjun who starred in the movie along with director Trivikram Srinivas. "My respect to our genius director Trivikram sir. He made it for us, and many more in the making," Thaman said.
