Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao along with his family members offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala temple on Monday morning.
TTD officials accorded a traditional welcome to the Telangana chief minister and his family members on their arrival at the Mahadwaram - main entrance of the Tirumala temple.
After being led into the sanctum sanctorum, KCR and his family members worshipped the presiding deity Lord Venkateswara for a brief while.
Later at the Ranganayakula Mandapam, veda pundits rendered Vedasirvachanam on Telangana chief minister and his family members.
KCR also offered prayers to Goddess Padmavathi Ammavaru, the consort of Lord Venkateswara, at the Tiruchanoor temple.
K Chandrasekhar Rao also visited to Chandragiri YSRC legislator Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy's residence.
Andhra Pradesh chief electoral officer Gopalkrishna Dwivedi also worshipped Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala on Monday.
