offered gold crown worth Rs 3.7 crore to
goddess Bhadrakali
for the fulfilment of his desire for a separate state.
The 11.7 kg crown manufactured by GRT jewellers was presented to the deity in the presence of the temple executive officer
Katta Anjani Devi
and main priest Bhadrakali Sheshu. Earlier, the gold ornament was examined by the temple gold ornaments verification officer.
Before presenting the crown, KCR's wife Vijaya offered prayers in the temple along with endowments minister A Indrakaran Reddy and his wife. Government advisor
K V Ramanachary
and local MPs and MLAs also participated in the special rituals.
After the oferring, KCR also prayed at the historic temple with his wife, deputy chief minister Kadiyam Srihari, parliament members A Seetaram Naik and P Dayakar, and legislators D Vinaya Bhaskar and Konda Surekha.
