Telangana: BRS to start stir over Krishna share, PRLIS
HYDERABAD: Announcing BRS will build a people’s movement for Telangana’s rightful share in Krishna and also on the Palamuru-Rangareddy lift irrigation scheme (PRLIS), BRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao has said the party will finalise the agitation programmes on the Congress govt’s apathy and the Centre’s attitude in the next three to four days. The ex-CM said the party will hold public meetings in Mahabubnagar, Rangareddy, and Nalgonda districts, and expose the two govts by bringing awareness among the people.
Will protect T interests: KCR
Speaking to reporters after addressing the party state executive, legislature party, parliamentary party, and important leaders at Telangana Bhavan on Sunday, KCR said: “BRS will not compromise on Telangana interests as the party was born for the sole purpose of protecting the interests of the Telangana people. We will not rest and not allow the state govt and the Centre to rest on the issue.”
The former CM alleged the Congress govt has become a “real estate company and is involved only in selling govt land”. He said when BRS was in govt, there was a real estate boom in the state, and land rates escalated to even Rs 50 lakh per acre at some places. There was confidence among the people and farmers. Now, the land rates crashed after Congress came into power two years ago, and there are no buyers for land.
He ridiculed Bharat Future City by including land acquired for Hyderabad Pharma City.
“The BRS govt wanted to shift the pharma industries outside the ORR to a dedicated place and identified 20,000 acres. Of them, 14,000 acres were already acquired, and the acquisition was conditional that the land would be used for Pharma City. Now, the Congress govt is talking about the Future City, making it a real estate city,” KCR said.
On the memorandums of understanding (MoUs) entered into at the recent Global Summit, he expressed doubts about how many would materialise. He gave an example of the AP govt’s previous investment summits held a few years ago, in which hardly 20% to 30% got investments, and the rest were bogus.
“It appears the present CM (Revanth Reddy) is adopting the methods of his guru and AP CM Chandrababu Naidu in investments,” he said. The former CM said the BRS govt brought the best industrial policy, and the software exports increased from Rs 50,000 crore to Rs 2.45 lakh crore, he added.
False promises by Cong: KCR
Taking a dig at the Congress govt, he said Congress came to power by making false promises, and now it backtracked on all the 420 promises.
“He (CM Revanth Reddy) has only one agenda: ‘abusing KCR’ in every meeting, including school and college functions. What did the govt achieve in the two years?” he asked. “The state
govt is fast losing its credibility and people are realising it now,” KCR added.

This Chxthxyaa says Land prices fell now but again says selling land is the only thing the government knows .. if prices are falling why would they sell ?? Prices are already much high up unsustainably but nowhere down. The so-called Krime rate the skowndrel mentions is from a 2023 Report based on the 2-3 years PRIOR TO THAT - His own govt .. The 299 Tmcft he refers to as so-called downsizing - HE himself Signed that .. Such a Ulttraa Chxthxyaa you cannot even contemplate how he even became a CMâ ¦In 2023 if you recall, he said PRLIS is complete (that was one of the main planks they campaigned on too) .. Now he himself says we completed 75% .. some vague number he saysRead allPost comment
