Telangana assembly election: Moviegoers protest after movie shows cancelled
HYDERABAD: Several youngsters gathered at Prasads Large Screen at NTR Marg on Friday morning to protest after the picturehall management cancelled the morning shows of all movies in the view of the assembly election.
Angry mob argued with the management, asking for refund double the amount of ticket as they wasted their money and time. "I booked the tickets two days ago.

Tomorrow I have work and Sunday mostly go with family. For several days the shows for 2.0 is going houseful, finally, I had got the tickets and they cancelled the shows," said Vinod Kumar, a private employee from Malkajgiri.
Vinod and his friends did not vote and came directly to the multiplex to watch the movie when asked, they said, "We are carrying the voter id card, I had planned to go after the movie."
The mob started gathering at around 8 AM, said one of the security guard present in front of the box office ticket counter trying to manage the mob.
"We have been asked to inform the moviegoers that all the shows before 5 pm have been cancelled, but they started protesting," said one of the security guard.
Hours after the protest, the management of Prasads Large Screen refunded the money to people.
