The NTR family had launched Tarakaratna into films with a lot of fanfare with as many as nine films launched on a single day.
Some of his other notable films include ‘Taarak’, ‘Bhadradri Ramudu’, ‘Nadeeshwarudu’, ‘Eduru Leni Alexander’ and ‘Yuva Ratna’. He was also a recipient of the Nandi award for his role in the film ‘Amaravathi’. He also recently acted in a web series titled '9 hour’.
Like some of the other grandsons of NTR, Tarakaratna too became an actor making his debut with the film ‘Okato number Kurradu’ in 2002.
Tarakaratna was the son of Mohanakrishna and grandson of former chief minister of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh and TDP founder N T Rama Rao.
