T to begin house listing from May 11

Hyderabad: The house listing operations, as part of the national census exercise, will be conducted in Telangana from May 11 to June 9, according to the schedule fixed by the Govt of India.The state cabinet meeting on Monday discussed the arrangements being made by the govt in Telangana to undertake the census 2027, as directed by the central govt.Chief secretary Ramakrishna Rao explained the arrangements to the cabinet. He also briefed the members on the list of 34 questions prescribed by the Centre for the house listing exercise.A total of 89,000 employees, including enumerators and nodal officers, will be involved in the census process in the state. The second phase of the census will be conducted in Telangana in February 2027.
