T Cong wants Rahul to stay put as chief

Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee on Thursday submitted a resolution to party president Rahul Gandhi requesting him to continue as AICC president even as he remained steadfast on stepping down after the drubbing the party faced in the Lok Sabha elections. TPCC president and Nalgonda MP Uttam Kumar stated in the missive that while the BJP relied on stoking nationalistic sentiments to wrest power, the Congress had adopted an inclusive approach.
