HYDERABAD: Telangana Rashtra Samiti rebel candidate Padma Devender Reddy, who unsuccessfully contested from Medak assembly constituency in the recent elections, rejoined the party in the presence of party president K Chandrasekhar Rao on Friday.
She had contested as rebel candidate as she was denied a party ticket, following which she was suspended from the party.
However, KCR revoked the suspension after the poll results were declared.
Padma Devender Reddy was elected as MLA in 2004 election from the Ramayanpet constituency, which has been scrapped in the delimitation. KCR said that she would be given importance in the party recognising her service to the Telangana movement and the party in future.
