State seeks more time for counter in citizenship case

Hyderabad: Justice Abhinand Kumar Shavili of Telangana high court on Wednesday adjourned the citizenship row case involving Vemulawada TRS MLA Chennamaneni Ramesh to March 18.
This was preceded by a request from the state government to grant some more time to file its counter.
Additional advocate general J Ramachandra Rao, who earlier said that the state government wants to have a say in the matter, sought more time on Wednesday for conveying the government’s stand on this.
