HYDERABAD: In a major transfer of senior IAS officers, the state government on Friday shifted 44 officers of the rank of principal secretaries and secretaries.
Among the high-profile shifting are that of IT principal secretary K Ratna Prabha, industries principal secretary Lakshmi Parthasarthy, youth affairs principal secretary J R Anand and irrigation secretary Satish Chandra.

C V S K Sarma, who had been shunted out of the irrigation department to the agriculture department, has been rewarded with the plum posting of chief commissioner of Greater Hyderabad.
Ratna Prabha has been posted as principal secretary, public enterprises department, while Lakshmi Parthasarthy now moves to roads and buildings.
They have been replaced by two officers who returned from central deputation. While S K Joshi takes over from Ratna Prabha, Busi Sam Bob replaces Lakshmi Parthasarthy.
J R Anand has been posted as managing director of Nizam Sugars Ltd while Satish Chandra has been posted as commissioner of employment and training.
In place of Anand comes S N Mohanty, who was commissioner of Andhra Pradesh Housing Board, while in place of Satish Chandra comes industries commissioner Suthirtha Bhattacharya.
The other high-profile transfers include that of K V Ramanachary, school education secretary, who has been given the post of executive officer TTD.
V P Jauhari, special chief secretary in revenue department, has been posted to panchayat raj and rural development department with the same designation and in his place comes M Samuel who was in the PR department.
