Congress is inviting the participation of the people mainly through social media in preparation of party’s ward-wise and also an overall city-level election manifesto for the ensuing polls to the
Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.
AICC in charge of Telangana Manickam Tagore and Congress manifesto committee chairman M Shashidhar Reddy have urged the citizens to suggest what kind of developments, projects, changes they want in the city and what kind of Greater Hyderabad they are visualizing to see in future.
What are the problems and the kind of solutions they are expecting?
“People should give their suggestions to the Congress party through speakuphyderabad@gmail.com and on WhatsApp number 8639721075 within 10 days. The Congress will come out with people's manifesto in the last week of this month,” said Congress election manifesto committee chairman Marri Shashidhar Reddy. The committee met here on Monday and also decided to reach out to the numerous colonies and resident welfare associations, apartments welfare associations, civic society organisations and also voters individually to seek their suggestions on preparation of “people manifesto” for GHMC polls.
In addition to consulting the urban development experts through webinars on core areas that need to be mentioned in the election manifesto, the Congress leaders on their part will get in touch with local residents at polling booth level to identify the issues at the micro-level and include them in ward-wise manifesto.
