HYDERABAD: Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor was trolled on social media on Wednesday for questioning chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s comment on the extreme measures the state may have to take if citizens violate the lockdown rules.
“I’m confused. Is this normal?” she asked on Twitter, pointing to a report which quoted CM KCR as saying that he may impose a 24-hour curfew, and may call in the army and give shoot-at-sight orders if people do not restrict themselves to their homes.
The chief minister made the statement at a press conference on preventing the spread of coronavirus in Telangana, on Tuesday.
