HYDERABAD: A con artist, who is the son of a former IAS officer and involved in 16 cases, was arrested on Monday for impersonating

to clear a file. He informed him that one Shoban Babu would meet him. After hanging up the phone, Subba Rao called up the office of the principal secretary, which denied Narsing Rao talking to anyone on phone.

Subba Rao approached Cyberabad police, who caught Shoban Babu last week. Based on his confession, Vijay Kumar, son of former IAS officer Bhaskar Rao, was caught for impersonating the CMO official on Monday. He was arrested earlier by Hyderabad and Cyberabad police.
