SNDP phase-1 to be ready by May-end

) is expected to be completed by May-end. Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, mayor

said that there are around 52 projects under SNDP worth 858 crore taken up across six zones within GHMC limits. Of these, work on 17 of them has already begun as part of phase-1 and is expected to be completed by end of May. On the other hand, tenders pertaining to the 32 projects under phase-2 have been finalised and works are likely to be grounded soon. “We have noted that issues arose during the 2020 floods and SNDP will play a major role in resolving them,” Vijayalakshmi said. The mayor also said that phase-2 of SNDP works will be completed by December-end this year.
