Siva Reddy awards on Wednesday

hyderabad: the andhra pradesh akademi of sciences will organise the presentation of dr p siva reddy endowment awards on sept 12, at bharatiya vidya bhavan, here. the endowment award winners include k anji reddy of dr reddy's labs in the category of eminent medical man and scientist, dr m srinivasan (best teacher), dr lingam gopal (best researcher) and dr n subramanya reddy (best medico social worker).as part of the awards presentation, the akademi will also honour five scientists — dr i v subba rao, dr datla renuka, dr c ganguly, dr y venkatrami reddy and dr k vijaya lakshmi. medals to the mbbs students who achieved first rank in ophthalmology in different medical colleges will also be given. home minister t devender goud will be the chief guest, while press council of india chairman k jayachandra reddy will be the guest of honour.
