HYDERABAD: Four days after his accident, noted film and television actor Shivaji Raja’s condition was still critical on Wednesday. He was put on a ventilator on Tuesday night, after oxygen supply to the lungs reduced due to contusion in the lungs.
According to medical superintendent, Yashoda Hospital, A Lingaiah, the actor will remain on ventilator for the next three days at least.
Raja suffered fractures in the ribs, brain haemorrhage, blood clot in the abdomen and injury to the pancreas in the accident on Sunday.
Shivaji Raja has of late shifted to TV and emerged as a popular figure. He made his mark as an anchor for the show Moguds-Pellams, with his wife as the co-host.
