Revanth Reddy on Sunday declared that senior Congress leader Shabbir Ali may well become the deputy chief minister of the state after the next assembly elections.

Rahul Gandhi recently, Revanth Reddy undertook his first tour to campaign for Congress candidates. Though the party is yet to officially declare its candidates, Shabbir Ali has been given the green signal to contest from his
Kamareddy
constituency.
"Shabbir bhai has served you whether you voted for him or not in the past. With his seniority, he is on the verge of possibly getting a bigger position like deputy chief minister (if voted to power). Do not lose the opportunity to vote for him," Revanth Reddy declared.

He had lost from Kamareddy in the 2014 elections to Gampa Goverdhan. Revanth Reddy alleged that CM K Chandrasekhar Rao and TRS leaders were only interested in looting the state.
