Set up SP offices in new dists: CS

HYDERABAD: Telangana chief secretary Rajiv Sharma on Saturday directed the police officials to make arrangements for establishing offices of superintendents of police (SP) in the proposed new districts. The chief secretary told the police department to upload details of staff working in all the district police offices and tentative allocations to new districts on Centre for Good Governance (CGG) website.
Rajiv Sharma chaired a meeting of the task force committee on new districts with home and labour departments at the secretariat on Saturday.He said details such as infrastructure and vehicles should be provided to the government and asked the police department to keep photocopies of files and records.
