WARANGAL: Senior BJP leader and Union minister of state for labour Bandaru Dattatreya gave some anxious moments for his supporters and staff when he suffered a nose bleed and slipped off his chair on a dais at a party campaign meeting at Hanamkonda here on Wednesday evening.
He was immediately rushed to a private hospital nearby where he underwent a check up.
According to Dattareya’s personal assistant Kailas Nagesh, the doctors informed the minister that he suffered from a nosebleed from physical strain. However, he was advised to stay at the hospital for some time to undergo some more precautionary checks.
Nagesh said that there was no cause for worry as per the doctors. “Since some drops of blood fell on the minister’s clothes, it appeared as if something went seriously wrong with him. The doctors said there is no cause for worry,” Nagesh said.
