Seminar on Eastern Ghats

tirupati: a three-day national seminar on the conservation of eastern ghats, jointly organised by the tirumala tirupati devasthanams (ttd) and the environment protection training and research institute (eptri), began at the srinivasa auditorium, sree venkateswara university campus, tirupati, on sunday. tamil nadu governor p s ram mohan rao inaugurated the seminar and p v jaya krishnan, secretary, ministry of environment and forests presided over the function.a postal cover on redsanders, for which the eastern ghats are famous, was released by uma ram mohan rao, the first lady of tamil nadu to mark the occasion.
