VISAKHAPATNAM: With no trace of her husband even 10 days after his abduction off Kenyan coast, the wife of P Saravanan on Friday knocked the police door for his safe release from the clutches of the Somalian pirates.
The wife of the maritime technician, Siva, met city commissioner of police N Sambasiva Rao here and urged him to use his good offices to find the whereabouts of her husband.

"We were told about the abduction by the company on January 9 and since then there was no contact with the company officials," she said.
Assuring help, Rao said he would bring the issue to the notice of the concerned officials. Saravanan, who hails from Tamil Nadu, settled in Vizag over two decades ago.
