Sangeet fest at Pt Jasraj centre from Nov. 28

HYDERABAD: The 30th Pandit Motiram-Pandit Maniram Sangeet Samaroh will be held from November 28 to December 1. The samaroh will be held at the Pandit Jasraj International Centre for Aesthetic and Cultural Studies,Department of English, Nizam college.

HYDERABAD: The 30th Pandit Motiram-Pandit Maniram Sangeet Samaroh will be held from November 28 to December 1. The samaroh will be held at the Pandit Jasraj International Centre for Aesthetic and Cultural Studies,Department of English, Nizam college.
Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, Pandit Jasraj said national and international artistes like Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma, Rajan Misra and Sajan Misra, Sanjeev Abhyankar and other renowned singers would participate in the event.

The samaroh was organised jointly by the department of culture and Pandit Jasraj. Pandit Jasraj said that entry to the samaroh is free and renowned artists of Hindustani and Carnatic music have performed in the samaroh in the past.
In the past the samaroh has introduced many classical musicians like Ustad Amjad Ali Khan and Zakir Hussain to the people of Hyderabad, he said.
Tourism minister T Srinivas Yadav will be the chief guest at the samaroh on November 28.
