Sakhya Sahithi to honour eight women today

hyderabad: sakhya sahithi, an association of women writers, will organise its fifth anniversary celebrations on wednesday, at potti sreeramulu telugu university auditorium. as part of the celebrations, the association will honour eight eminent women from the fields of literature and journalism. the awardees include, ramani sanwal (turaga krishna mohan rao), govindaraju sita devi (vedula gopalakrishna murthi award), m hemalatha (abburi rukminamma) and dr bhargavi rao will be presented with vasireddy raghavaiah award.all india radio station director durga bhasker, rajya sabha member c narayana reddy and cine writer m s reddy will take part in the celebrations, according to a press release.
