Sahith, Sanjay bag honours

Hyderabad: Sahith Bandaran of Hyderabad and Sanjay Reddy of Medchal emerged victorious in the sub-junior and junior categories respectively, in the Telangana State sailing championships at Durgam Cheruvu on Friday.Sahith with 34 points finished ahead of Deekshitha Kommaravelly (38) of Hyderabad. By virtue of her overall performance, Deekshitha won the sub-junior girls category, well ahead of Thanuja Kameshwar of Hyderabad (52) and her younger sister Lahari Kommaravelly (53). Mohammed Rizwan of Hyderabad finished overall third in sub-juniors.Meanwhile, Sanjay Reddy with 14 points triumphed in the overall juniors category. Like in sub-juniors category, another girl R Ashwini secured silver in the juniors ahead of T Ajay of Khammam. With her splendid performance in the overall category, Ashwini topped the girls section.
