Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who is scheduled to address a public meeting in Nizamabad on March 19, is likely to announce Kavitha as candidate once again for the Lok Sabha seat. At the public meeting in Karimnagar, he had announced that sitting MP B Vinod Kumar will be the TRS candidate this time.

Rajitha, a physically-challenged girl, made a contribution of Rs 5 lakh to Kavitha’s election expenditure. Kavitha said she was moved by Rajitha’s gesture. The contributions were made in Jagtial and Korutla assembly constituencies.

Addressing a press conference in Nizamabad, Kavitha described the results of the Lok Sabha elections as a foregone conclusion, saying that the party would win all 16 seats. “The war is one-sided in Telangana,” she said.
