Row over power employees: HC judgment on September 22

HYDERABAD: A division bench of the Hyderabad High Court comprising justice R Subhash Reddy and justice A Shankar Narayana on Friday said that orders will be pronounced on Tuesday in petitions pertaining to 1,200 employees, who were relieved by the power distribution companies of Telangana state.
It may be recalled that 1,200 employees who were relieved and sent to AP, approached high court and obtained interim stay orders.As the AP did not take them in, these employees have remained jobless for the last four months. On the other side, Telangana power companies are seeking vacation of the stay order imposed by the high court. The bench on Friday briefly heard the final arguments on behalf of the Telangana government. The bench reserved its orders to Tuesday.
