Hyderabad: Chief minister A Revanth Reddy will leave for New Delhi on Thursday to participate in the nomination filing of the INDIA bloc Vice-Presidential candidate, Justice B Sudershan Reddy.
AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge had announced that Justice Sudershan Reddy would file his nomination on Aug 21. The BJP-led NDA's Vice-Presidential candidate CP Radhakrishnan filed his nomination on Wednesday in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union ministers.
Revanth, along with deputy chief minister Bhatti Vikramarka, will attend the nomination of Justice Sudershan Reddy. Bhatti is already in the national capital. Other ministers and all the Congress MPs from Telangana would also be participating in the nomination event. The chief minister is expected to return to the city after the process is completed.
