Revanth Reddy: Bury BRS before it turns saffron

CM calls for 30,000 crore for agri loan waiver, emphasizing Khamm... Read More
The state goverment needs 30,000 crore to waive the agri loans in one go. The CM invoked 'Khammam pride' and appealed to the people to defeat the BRS and BJP and "save the Constitution and reservations". "Even when YS Rajasekhara Reddy was the CM, he was told by AICC leaders that he was CM of 22 of 23 districts and not for Khammam. This is because the people of Khammam are politically awakened and raise their own issues and solve them," he said in a bid to woo the electorate.

He further said: "The people of Khammam have the ability of identifying who is bad and who is good for them, due to which they gave only one assembly seat in Khammam to the BRS in 2014, 2018 and 2023 assembly polls. This is the right time to finish off the BRS totally because it will join the BJP-led alliance at the Centre."

Addressing a public meeting in Kothakota, Revanth launched a scathing attack on PM Narendra Modi and BJP candidate DK Aruna. "I am 'Palamuru bidda' who has become the CM and I want to develop Mahabubanagar but Arunamma (Aruna) is spitting venom on me. Do the people of Palamuru want to vote for Modi and Aruna who meted out injustice to them," he sought to know.

CM Revanth Reddy asked BJP state chief Kishan Reddy and BJP MP D Arvind as to who should be slapped with chappals now. "BJP general secretary Dushyant Kumar in an interview said the BJP will change the Constitution if voted to power for a third term," he said.
