Hyderabad: Chief minister A
Revanth Reddy has directed the industries department to ensure that companies which signed memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with the state begin operations at the earliest, with all necessary facilities provided to them.
At a review meeting on Wednesday, the CM examined MoUs signed at Davos and the Telangana Rising Global Summit and assessed progress. Officials briefed him on firms that have already commenced operations and those still pending across sectors. They also shared details of land allocation priorities, including for the proposed Future City.
Revanth instructed officials to expedite land acquisition for companies awaiting allotments and called for a strategic plan to meet their facility and infrastructure needs. He specifically directed that treated water from STPs be utilised for data centres.
The CM further suggested classifying MoU companies into three categories based on their stage of progress, with priority accorded to well-known brands.
