Later, J Ramakrishna (Ward No-V) became the vice-president from 2017 April with the assurance of the TRS high command. Ramakrishna’s tenure was completed in 2018 May but he has still held on to the post. Ramakrishna had become the vice-president on the condition that after one year he would make way for J Maheswar Reddy (Ward No-I).When contacted, the SCB vice- president J Ramakrishna said: “I am aware of the issue."

Like it fizzled out elsewhere here too it will be a non event as the TRS is a master at management especially quorum as that one factor ensured no confidence motions falling through and not even being taken up. TRS has become very strong now in both GHMC & Secbad cantonment areas. Water boards, TSRTC etc unions are controlled by TRS. There was a time when TRS was a non entity in GHMC and in such a short span of time all other parties have become redundant. Performance alone counts &â TRS has performed.Read allPost comment
