Chanchalguda central prison
.
Meanwhile, the
Juvenile Justice Board
(JJB) on Thursday granted five-day police custody of three juveniles arrested in the case. The police will begin questioning them from Friday.
"We will take them into custody on Friday. We also moved a petition seeking custody of two other accused. That's being heard," said a cop.
The 18-year-old accused was questioned by the investigating officer M Sudarshan and additional DCP (West Zone) Iqbal Siddiqui at Jubilee Hills police station. Sources revealed that the first day of questioning focused about the sequence of events on the day of the offence.
A cop said, “The accused was asked about what happened inside the pub and later during the night. He answered most of the questions and said that one of the minors was the main accused as he was the one who instigated others to commit the heinous offence,” said a cop. Police are also planning to recreate the scene of crime as part of the investigations.
