Telangana: Rain damages Yadadri ghat road

HYDERABAD: Heavy rain on Wednesday resulted in damage to the ghat road at Yadadri.
The road caved in at a few places and suffered damages at other places, thereby exposing the quality of work. A bus got stuck in a ditch and had to be given a push. At Yadagirigutta, the rainwater fl-ooded the bus station causing inconvenience to passengers.
Paddy heaps got wet because of the rain in Nalgonda.Additional collector V Chandrasekhar advised officials to ask farmers to cover the paddy at the procurement centres. He asked them to see that farmers are not put to hardships while selling their produce.
