Hyderabad: All India Congress Committee in charge of
Telangana, Manikrao Thakre, on Sunday said people from all walks of life have poured out their woes to legislature party leader Bhatti Vikramarka during his over 1,000 km padayatra till date. He said that the walkathon has further improved the poll prospects of the Congress in state.
Thakre, AICC secretary
Rohit Choudhary, Nalgonda MP N
Uttam Kumar reddy, former MLA N Padmavathi Reddy among others participated in Bhatti’s padayatra and street corner meeting at Chandanapalli in undivided Nalgonda district on Sunday.
“Public anger against the BRS government has been visible in the eyes of people during Bhatti’s padayatra. Though Prime Minister
Narendra Modi and Union home minister Amit Shah pointed out corruption in various projects by the ruling party in Telangana, there have been no CBI, ED or I-T raids on the top leadership of the ruling party in the state. This exposes the internal understanding between the BRS and BJP,” Manikrao Thakre said.
Thakre was confident of Congress’ victory in the state as he slammed BRS for using public money for party use and cautioned people against voting BRS.
