‘Bigg Boss’ organisers to be probed for violence

Hyderabad: As part of the probe into the violence which broke out in Jubilee Hills post Big Boss-7 winner’s announcement a few days ago, Hyderabad police on Friday said that show’s organisers will also be probed in the case. Cops were responding to a question about why contest winner Pallavi Prashant was booked and no action was taken against the organisers. Prashanth had been booked in connection with a vandalism incident involving the runner-up, Amardeep Chowdary.“On that day, Prashant was taken out from a different route and asked to leave. But Prashant returned to the place where unlawful assembly took place and provoked the situation. This further aggravated the situation,” deputy commissioner of police (West Zone) SM Vijay Kumar said. He said police has so far taken action against persons who are responsible for violence. Next, the reality show organisers will also he probed.Earlier, police registered two cases for violence and disobedience of police orders against Prashant. In the first case, 12 members were arrested. In the other case, Prashant and his brother were arrested on Wednesday.
