President to arrive in city today; traffic restictions imposed

HYDERABAD: In view of President Pratibha Patil’s arrival on Sunday, the Hyderabad police have imposed certain traffic restrictions in parts of the city.
According to an official release issued here on Saturday, traffic heading towards Begumpet Airport – PNT –Rasoolpura Junction – CTO – Plaza X Roads – Tivoli X Roads – NCC Directorate X Roads - Secunderabad Club In Gate – Apollo Hospital – Vikrampuri - Karkhana police station– Hanuman Temple – RTO Office – Trimulgherry X Roads– Holy Family Church - Lal Bazar ‘T’ Junction – MC EME Signal – Lothkunta ‘Y’ Junction – Malla Reddy Nagar – Rashtrapati Nilayam would either be stopped or diverted between11.45 am and 12.45 pm.
Hyderabad police commissioner AK Khan has requested citizens to take alternate routes by avoiding Begumpet airport-RP Nilayam stretch during specified timings.
