HYDERABAD:
Telangana BJP chief
Bandi Sanjay on Wednesday said that the Pay Revision
Committee
(
PRC
) committee should have recommended 43 per cent as demanded by the state government employees.
“Even in the united Andhra Pradesh ruling regimes never gave fewer fitments than 25 per cent,” he said. As soon as PRC is set up, there is a tradition of giving interim relief, but state government did not give that also, he added.
He also flayed the first PRC as the drama. Responding to the committee’s report he said after taking three years of time for submitting the report, the committee only recommended very less per cent of fitment for the employees. He sought to know if the three member committee was allowed to function independently.
“There was no committee required to announce just 7. 5 per cent fitment. Chief minister has once again betrayed the employees," he alleged.
The commission also recommended that the Child Care Leave (CCL) be enhanced from 90 days to 120 days in the case of normal children. In case of specially abled children, the CCL will be enhanced from 90 days to two years, on par with the Union government.
The CCL will be applicable to single male parents who may include unmarried or widower or divorcee employees.
This leave will be granted with 100 per cent of the salary for the first 365 days and 80 percent of the salary for the next 365 days.
Special Disability Leave is substituted by a new Leave named “Work Related Illness and injury Leave (WRILL)” and Special Disability Leave for accidental injury and Hospital Leave are merged in WRILL.
