Pranavi’s unbeaten knock helps Hyd defeat Bengal

Hyderabad: Pranavi Chandra hammered an umbeaten 88 (91b, 4x8, 6x2) as Hyderabad defeated Bengal by 24 runs in the first round of the BCCI senior women’s one-day tournament at St Stephen’s Ground in Delhi on Thursday. G Trisha chipped in with 31 as Hyderabad posted 225 for nine and bundled out Bengal for 201. Gouher Sultana and B Shravani claimed two wickets apiece for Hyderabad.This win against a big team like Bengal should bolster the confidence of the Hyderabad women.
