PM to hold virtual meet with Chenchu tribals on Jan 15

Hyderabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will speak with Chenchu tribals of Nagarkurnool during a virtual meeting on January 15 as part of the government’s PM-JANMAN programme .
At least 1,000 Chenchus will participate in the virtual meeting and arrangements are being made for them at the Girijan Gurukul School in the district. The Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan programme was launched by the Centre in November last year and aims to raise awareness and ensure 100% saturation of government schemes in Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups inhabiting 200 districts across the country.TNN
