HYDERABAD: The big question on everyone’s mind after BJP’s ‘Vijay Sankalp Sabha’ was why Prime Minister
Narendra Modi did not say anything against chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. The reason could be that he practised what he preached to a team of
BJP corporators. His advice was to focus on the central government’s developmental programmes rather than the TRS failures.
During the meeting with the Hyderabad team,
Modi questioned them about how to combat TRS.
“He told us that simply bashing will not work. When the stage is set for the party with positive response from the people, it is best to speak positively,” a source said. The PM reportedly told them that the anti-establishment narrative becomes very repetitive, and people find it negative. Leaders claim the state BJP unit had done the task of attacking TRS.
