HYDERABAD: In a fresh crackdown against the Popular Front of India (PFI) activists, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday raided multiple locations across the two Telugu states and sealed the regional PFI office in Chandrayangutta -- in the Old City area of Hyderabad -- in the wee hours of the day.
A notice has been affixed by Krishna Kumar Bharadwaj, an NIA offcial related to the PFI case investigation.
The investigators have asked the owner of the building to approach the Special NIA court a Nampally Metropolitan Criminal court premises.
The PFI office was being run from a rented building in Naseeb Nagar.
The NIA unit of Hyderabad on August 28 this year registered a case under IPC sections 120B, 121A, 153A, 141, and certain sections of the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA).
