HYDERABAD: NASDAQ listed IT player Pegasystems Inc on Tuesday announced that its second annual Pega Developers Conference (PDC) will be held in the city on October 12-13, 2014.
Speaking about the conference, Pegasystems India managing director Suman Reddy said, “This year’s PDC is not only designed to be larger in scale, but will also offer the developer community access and insight into the latest advancements in Pega technology.
The conference will address some of today’s most critical areas of technology enablement including social, mobile, cloud, data analytics and the internet of things. Attendees will benefit from hands-on experience to make the most of knowledge-enhancing sessions.”
Around 3,000 developers are expected to participate in the conference, he said.
Meanwhile, Telangana IT minister KT Rama Rao, who launched the PDC 2014 event, said, “Events of this stature will play a key role in restoring business confidence and give a boost to Brand Hyderabad as one of the largest IT hubs in the country.”
The company has two offices in India -- in Hyderabad and Bangalore and had recently acquired the assets of Bangalore-headquartered MeshLabs Software Private Limited, a provider of advanced text analytics and social engagement solutions.
