‘Pay farmers for their rain losses’

Hyderabad: Union minister for fisheries, animal husbandry and dairying Parshottam Rupala on Thursday said that he will submit a report on crop damage suffered by farmers in the state due to unseasonal rains.
Interacting with women of self-help groups in Kamareddy district as part of the Parliament Pravas Yojana programme, he said: “Farmers in the state are at a great loss, compensations should be paid to them.” tnn
