Parents 'kidnap' daughter for marrying lover

HYDERABAD: A 20-year-old woman who married her lover against parent's will was

kidnapped

from her in-law's house in Meerpet. The woman and her husband belong to different communities.

The victim was Sirisha from Nadargul. On October 19, Sirisha married her father's employee Sandeep,22. After the marriage, family members of Sirisha lodged a missing case and the couple approached the Meerpet police. On Thursday night, Sirisha's family members came to her in-law's house in

Balapur

and kidnapped her after assaulting Sandeep, police said.
