Hyderabad: Telangana Congress disciplinary action committee chairman and MP Mallu Ravi on Sunday called on party leaders and cadre in the Palakurthi assembly constituency to work together to strengthen the party and resolve internal differences amicably.
Addressing a media conference at Gandhi Bhavan, he said TPCC vice president H Jhansi Reddy appeared before the disciplinary action committee regarding recent disputes in the constituency during the municipal elections. Palakurthi MLA M Yashaswini Reddy could not attend the meeting as she was abroad.

“We have asked both Jhansi Reddy and Yashaswini Reddy to appear before the disciplinary committee again on May 30 after the MLA’s return from abroad. We had received complaints from them alleging that local leaders Hari Prasad and Krishna Kishore were working against Congress in the constituency. At the same time, the committee also received counter-complaints accusing Yashaswini and Jhansi of neglecting party cadre and harassing local leaders,” Mallu Ravi said.
The committee has already issued show-cause notices to Hari Prasad and Krishna Kishore, who subsequently submitted their explanations along with documentary evidence. Jhansi Reddy also provided relevant information and evidence to the committee, he added.
“Discussions will be held with the district in charge minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy and other leaders to resolve the issue and ensure unity in the party in Palakurthi constituency,” the MP said.
