Old City businessman murdered by friend

HYDERABAD: A 50-year-old businessman was allegedly murdered by his friend in Nayapul,

Old City

, on Tuesday night. The victim, Syed Hussain, was a resident of Moghulpura. On Tuesday night when Hussain was at his cold storage near Minar Function Hall, Nayapul, he was stabbed by a friend.


“Hussain was rushed to a hospital by his

associates

where he succumbed to the injuries,” said Ambar Kishor Jha, South Zone DCP.

During preliminary probe, police found out that Hussain had an argument with a friend about an extra-marital affair and in a fit of rage, the latter stabbed him multiple times. Police have launched a man hunt to nab the accused and a murder case was registered.
